Emergency & After Hours

We hope you will never need to visit an emergency room for your child. However, if you are ever concerned that your child may have a life threatening illness or injury, CALL 911! Emergency medical services will determine whether your child needs to be transported to the nearest emergency room for medical care.

If you require care after hours or feel that your child is having a minor emergency, PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE. Your child’s symptoms will be discussed and, if necessary, you will be advised to take them to a facility which offers pediatric care. This is an important step, as not all after-hours medical facilities in Richmond offer specialized pediatric care.
